It all began 34 years ago with a vision of capturing images of relationships. In the beginning, weddings were the mainstay of the business, but since then, the fine art portraiture of children, families, high school seniors, pets, and commercial photography has been added to give balance to our craft.

A family-owned and operated business, Southern Flair is nestled in the heart of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. Their 4,200 sqaure foot state-of-the-art studio and exclusive outdoor portrait garden are a testament to providing their clients with an outstanding experience.

The owner, Dwayne Lee, has earned two Degrees from the Professional Photographers of America - the prestigous Master of Photography Degree (M.Photog.) for photographic excellence, and the Photographic Craftsman Degree (Cr.) which represents meritorious service in the profession.

Dwayne has also achieved the distinction and title of Approved Photographic Instructor (API). He has taught numerous business and photographic courses all over at the local, state, regional, and national levels.

Believing in "giving back", Dwayne has also served in numerous capacities in the various organizations in which he belongs. He remains active in the following groups:

• Texas Professional Photographers Association (President - 2005-2006)
• Association of Wedding Professionals (President - 2004-2006)

As with any business, it takes a strong support staff to maintain the high standards of excellence we provide our clients.  

Barbara Lee is the Southern Flair's Studio Manager, with responsibilites in customer service, workflow, and production.

Heather Lee, Dwayne & Barbara's daughter, is an accomplished photographer in her own right. She has earned accolades for her photographic talents including Best Custom Wedding Album (Texas PPA), Best Multi-Maker Custom Wedding Album (Texas PPA), and numerous Distinguished Print Awards.

Rounding out the Southern Flair Staff are Connie Healer (Photographic Assistant), and Bob Woodruff (a great friend).

OUT OF TOWN ATTENDANTS | How to ensure a Perfect Fit

As a bride, you have a lot of things you could be worried about.  It’s nice to know that a perfect fit for your out-of-town groomsmen does not have to be one of your concerns thanks to Tuxedo Junction’s exclusive Formalwear Anywhere program.

So many other tuxedo rental vendors want to inspire brides and grooms to have their men pick up their tuxedo rentals in the city where they live.  This is not the guidance that you will receive from Tuxedo Junction, the wedding tuxedo specialist.  Take it from us, traveling with the tuxedo puts your men at risk of: the tuxedo getting lost; the tuxedo getting wrinkled; and worst of all, it puts him at risk of showing up at the wedding with the wrong style.

Tuxedo Junction is proud to offer an exclusive service to ensure the out of town members of your wedding party and it's called Formalwear Anywhere. Although you can watch our video here we still want to tell you how it works below.

Step 1 - Your men get measured where they live.

Although Tuxedo Junction is nationwide, it is perfectly alright if any of your groomsmen live in a city where there is not a Tuxedo Junction store.  That is because we are connected with thousands of other tuxedo stores that work together in a formal wear network to provide local customers with their measurements for weddings they are in which are out of town. 

Step 2 - Your men submit their measurements online at tuxedojunction.com.

After getting measured the men in your website will submit their measurements on the tuxedojunction.com website.  Just click the Submit Measurements button and they will be just a few clicks away from completing their tuxedo order for your wedding.

Step 3 - We'll have a tuxedo waiting on them when they come into town for your wedding.

Remember, at Tuxedo Junction we ensure a Perfect Fit for each member of your wedding party.  That is why every member of your party (whether local or from out of town) will receive a second fitting up to 2 days before your wedding date.

When your out of town attendants arrive in town we will have their tuxedo altered to specifications from the measurements they submitted online.  Every Tuxedo Junction store is equipped with an in store alteration department which means minor adjustments can be made on the spot.  Plus, Tuxedo Junction is the only tuxedo company that stocks 100% of their inventory right here is DFW.  That's right, our warehouse is centrally located in Grapevine, Texas.  This means that even if your men come in town at the last minute we can quickly handle and correct any fitting issues that may arise.
